In the last episode, Schneider sends assassins to attack Haruto and his friends but they fail. After being confronted by Haruto, he uses a syringe to turn himself into a monster. After a brief battle, Haruto manages to defeat him.

As the season comes to an end, Haruto looks over his sister who plans to help him secretly. Haruto decides to comply with her plans, suggesting that he’ll look for the rumored evil organization.

The anime series is based on the ongoing light novel series written by Sumimori Sai. The series began its run on May 31, 2019, and is being published by Kodansha. It has a total of 6 volumes.
