League of Legends: Wild Rift

League of Legends (LoL) is a free-to-play multiplayer game that falls under the category MOBA or multiplayer online battle arena. Developed by Riot Games, League of Legends puts you in the shoes of a champion with unique abilities. You take part in 5v5 battles against a team of other players or computer-controlled “champions.” Your goal is to destroy the opposing team’s “Nexus,” a structure that lies at the heart of a base protected by defensive structures. However, the game has a few other distinct modes with different sets of rules, objectives, and maps.

Every match is discrete, with all champions starting relatively weak but increasing in strength as you progress in the game. League of Legends has over 27 million daily active users, with the largest user base being North America and Europe.

On October 15, 2019, on the 10th anniversary of LoL, Riot Games announced that they are working on a mobile-friendly version of the game called League of Legends: Wild Rift. The games will be similar to its PC counterpart, with two significant changes and a few other tweaks.

Firstly, the mobile game will feature only 40 champions at launch with more being added later on. Second, the game times will be cut down to 15 -18 minutes. The Chinese tech giant Tencent will develop the upcoming mobile game.

League of Legends wild Rift is expected to be released this year for both Android and iOS. As of writing this article, it is up for pre-registration on the google play store. As for iOS users, Wild Rift will be available for beta testing on the App store very soon.

Apex Legends Mobile

Apex Legends is a free to play battle royale game. Published by EA and Developed by Respawn Entertainment, the game was an instant hit upon its release on February 4, 2019. Now, we won’t dig deep as it is the same Battle Royale affair. But, here is a quick rundown.

20 three-person squads land on an island, search for weapons, supplies and attempt to defeat all other players in combat and stay inside the ever-decreasing play area. Along with that, players will choose a character trait or a character with “unique abilities” before starting a game. Pretty standard for most BR these days. According to EA, as of October 2019, Apex Legends had approximately 70 million users worldwide with more than 10 Milion players a week.

Coming to the development regarding the mobile version of Apex legends, things are not very clear. Now, we can confirm that there will be a mobile version of the game. However, there is no news on when it will be available for the masses. As per rumours, Apex Legends Mobile is expected to be announced sometime midyear, most probably in June in E3 2020.

The mobile version will be very similar to its PC and console counterpart with minor adjustments. A Chinese company, presumably Tencent (going by EA’s track record), will develop Apex Legends mobile version. We will keep you updated about any other developments or news on the upcoming mobile game, so make sure to follow us.

EVE: Echoes

EVE is a popular space-based, massively multiplayer online role-playing game or MMORPG. It is One of the most anticipated upcoming mobile games. Developed and published by CCP Games, EVE was initially released back in May 2003. The game set up takes place more than 21000 years in the future when humans have colonized the entire solar system and have gone beyond. In short, EVE is a virtual world in itself with a whole timeline of events. Here is a summary of the same if you are interested.

EVE Echoes will be a scaled-down version of the PC Game. But what I am genuinely pumped about is that it will probably be the first science fiction MMORPG on Mobile. From exciting fleet battles, everchanging economic and political schemes all in a dynamic universe controlled by the players.

In September last year, Eve: Echoes had a brief closed alpha test. The game is already in open beta testing in Australia, USA, Canada, Russia, Europe, South Korea, and New Zealand for Both iOS and Android. The mobile version of the game is being developed in collaboration with NetEase Games.

As the name suggests, in Dauntless (showing fearlessness and determination), you, along with other players, play a fearless slayer on a mission to rid the world from these monsters. Dauntless is mostly a co-op game, but you can go solo if you want to.

Dauntless Mobile is currently under testing. However, the game is already listed on the Play Store and App Store. As of now, there is no definite timeframe on when will the mobile game be available for everyone. You can pre-register if you want to experience the world of Dauntless as soon as it is released. According to Slightly Mad Studios CEO, Ian Bell – Project CARS GO will enable players to “experience the racing game in a whole new way.” The upcoming project cars mobile game will also have features like licensed cars and vehicle customization, similar to the PC version.

The CEO didn’t disclose any further details except that a US-based game developer, Gamevil, is developing the mobile game. There no news on the launch date. Developed by American game developer Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. diablo takes place in the fictional Kingdom of Khanduras in the mortal realm. Diablo Immortal will be the first diablo game on Mobile. And will be developed by Blizzard in collaboration with NetEase. It will solely be a multiplayer (MMORPG) hack and slash RPG game. What’s really interesting is that rather than a completely separate game, Diablo Immortal will be set between the events of Diablo II and III. The game also promises next-gen graphics, so we will have to wait and see how that turns out.

Coming to the release date, the Diablo Mobile was announced back in November 2018 for both iOS and Android. Fast forward more than a year and, it is still unclear when exactly it will be available. Currently, Diablo Immortal is up for pre-registration on google play.

Path of Exile Mobile

Path of Exile (or PoE) is an action RPG game developed by Grinding Gear Games. The game was first released as a window exclusive back in 2013 and was only made available for Xbox 4 years later. In March 2019, the Path of Exile was finally crawled its way for PS4.

In November 2019, Griding gear announced that it is working on a mobile version of Path of Exile. The game promises to bring the core PoE experience to mobile devices without any compromises. Check the trailer above to find out what the game has in store for players.

Furthermore, according to Grinding Gear Games co-founder Jonathan Rogers the mobile game will be free of any “evil garbage.” In simple terms, the game will not feature any microtransaction, time gate, or video, and event notifications. Although it is excellent news, it is not clear how the devs will monetize the game.

Path of Exile Mobile is being developed in house with no words on a specific release date. However, it is expected that Path of Exile Mobile will be available for both iOS and Android sometime in 2020.

Commandos Mobile

Commandos is a classic stealth-based real-time tactics game. Released between 1998 to 2006, the Commandos franchise spans over five games. In 2017 KidJoy Studio announced that they are working on a Commandos mobile game. The game will be a remastered version of the original game and not a new one. The game will also feature all the iconic characters from the series. However, the developer didn’t share any further details.

The game is taking its fair share of time. However, we believe that we will be rewarded for the wait. When launched Commandos will be one of the most loved upcoming mobile games to date.

Commandos Mobile is expected to land sometime this year. But again, nothing is officially confirmed. Commandos will be available on both Android and iOS.

Commandos Mobile will be either free with micro-transactions or a one-time purchase. We will keep you updated as we get more information on the same.
