PocApp Studios announced that they’d be publishing a new game called Dungeon Dogs for iOS and Android devices. The game will be similar to Castle Cats, but this time instead of kittens, the game will feature pups! Here is all we know so far-
Dungeon Dogs is an Idle mobile RPG game developed by PocApp Studios. The award-winning Swedish studio is better known for producing ‘cat games’ like Castle Cats and Sling a Kitty. The former has more than 5 million downloads.
Dungeon Dogs for iOS and Android
Dungeon Dogs tells the story of a group of pups, Lyra, Ken, and Poppy, who live in the kingdom of Lupinia. The evil cat king rules the lands, and dogs are treated like second class citizens.
So, when the news breaks out that there might be a true heir to the throne, the trio and a group of brave pups must stand up against the oppressor.
In Dungeon Dogs, you will tackle a variety of story quests. At launch, the game will feature about 85 of them. However, PocApp assures that more will follow suit shortly. Additionally, the game will have usual events to keep players coming back to upgrade and battle with their canine team.
If you’ve played Castle Cats, you know what to expect, as Dungeon Dogs isn’t looking to change the gameplay too much.
There are a total of 45 different dogs to collect on release with more to be added in the future. Each pup will have a set of skills to unlock that will make them more potent in battle. On top of that, there will also be habits and costumes that you can equip them with, further enhancing their strengths.
Once you’ve created a dog squad that you’re happy with, you can set them up for battle, sit back and enjoy. This is an idle RPG, after all.
In conclusion, if you enjoy Castle Cats, chances are you’ll find much to love in PocApp Studios next casual outing.
Dungeon Dogs will be available on the App Store and Google Play after release. PocApp Studios have not announced the release date of the game.
