Love Nikki is a series of dress-up mobile-based video games developed by Paper Studio/Paper Studios and published by Elex Technology in the west. The premise of the game is to dress up the protagonist i.e. Nikki and then challenge NPCs and players in a duel style, where the participant with the best dress in the contest wins.
It is a game where every war is about fashion and the solutions are styling battles.

Love Nikki-Dress UP Queen Storyline
Plot
The plot of Love Nikki follows Nikki, a girl from Earth who dreams about becoming a stylist and is studying to achieve her goal. Nikki was summoned by Queen Nanari of Lilith Kingdom to request Nikki to change the fate of Miraland.
The game is about her adventures through Miraland with her cat Momo and her friends whom she met on her journey.
Past
Nikki used to live on Earth with her cat Momo, her parents, and her sister Yoyo. She used to learn ballet in her childhood and she also did a part-time job once.
Year 680
Nikki is summoned by Queen Nanari of Lilith Kingdom in Miraland, a world outside Earth, where she requests Nikki to change the fate of that world. Nikki finds herself in a small town named “Wheat field” in the nation called the Apple Federal.
She meets Aron who introduces her to the custom of doing styling battles for fun. Bobo from Lilith kingdom, who notices Nikki’s skill and asks where she was from.
Later, Nikki, Momo, and Bobo travel around the wheat field and meet Lunar, a designer from Cloud Empire who recently had her designs stolen. Nikki comes forth to help Lunar and win her designs back from Mela by beating her in a styling battle.
Mela leaves after losing but warns Nikki about her organization – Iron Rose Stylist Legion, which traveled around Miraland to acquire designs.
Ending
Later in the story, Nikki meets other characters – Cicia, Royce, Sofia, Bai Jinjin, Zhong Lizi, Kimi, Fu Su, Lu Yinian, Nidhogg, and others. Some help her and some create problems for her.
The games end at Church where she is drugged alongside her friends and ends up on a plane that was programmed to fly to the North Kingdom.
Not to give too many spoilers, you have to play Love Nikki to find out what happens through the course of Nikki’s adventure in Miraland, what challenges will she have to face, and how the game ends in the North Kingdom.
Gameplay
Love Nikki is a dress-up game with a role-playing game essence. The player plays Nikki, who wears various clothing to beat others or to help others. These clothes can be earned by journey stages, Crafting, Reconstruction, etc.
Styling Battles hold the major part of Gameplay. As the name suggests, styling battles is about competing with NPCs in a battle of style or dress up, whosoever gets the highest scores is declared as the winner.
