Team Soul History

Team SouL is one of the best PUBG Mobile esports team India has ever produced. Lead by the star PUBG Mobile player Mortal, and managed by Thug. In 2018 Mortal founded the Team Soul along with Aman, Owais, and Ronak. Team Soul rose to prominence in 2019 after it won two major PUBG Mobile tournaments, namely, PMIS 2019 and PMCO 2019. The team also had represented India twice in Global tournaments.

Soul Mortal: Naman Mathur, aka Soul Mortal, is one of the best PUBG Mobile players in India. He lives in Mumbai with his mother and elder brother. He is the founder and IGL (in-game leader) of Team Soul. As the leader, Mortal is responsible for taking short calls and decisions during a match. He also plays the roles of a scout and an assaulter for his squad. Mortal, with his favourite gun DP28, is considered undetectable by his fans and followers.

Soul Viper: Yash Soni, aka Viper, is Mortal’s, right-hand man. He lives in Mumbai. Viper’s in-game role is mainly of a secondary Sniper and Assaulter. He plays with two-finger controls and has excellent game sense.

SouL Stand-ins

PIMCO Fall Split 2019: Due to undisclosed reasons, one of Soul’s founding members and stand-in player Aman joined Entity Gaming. Shortly after AMAN’s departure, ClutchGod joined Soul.

On December 1st, AMAN rejoined Soul, and ClutchGod returned to his old team 8Bit.

Former Players and The Split of The Original Team

In Agust 2019, Mortal left Soul Esports. On August 5th, 2019, Tanmay, aka Sc0ut, revealed that he would be leaving TeamIND after the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge 2019. Later Sc0ut announced that he is teaming up with the SouL clan for the upcoming PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019.

Sc0ut joined SouL Owais, Soul Viper, and SouL Ronak to complete the lineup for PMIT 2019. But within a few months, Tanmay left team Soul along with Soul’s two most dependable players Owais and Ronak.

Soul Owais: Mohammed Owais Lakhani, aka Owais, lives in Mumbai. He used to play the role of close combat specialist/assaulter for his squad. He is arguably the best assaulter in the Indian PUBG Mobile community. Currently, he plays for Fanatic.

Soul Ronak: His real name is Harpreet Singh Janjuha, aka Soul Ronak. He also lives in Mumbai and is only 20 years old. Though Ronak’s in-game role is mainly of a Sniper, he had displayed impressive assaulting skills at times.

Sc0utOP: Tanmay Singh, better known as Sc0ut, hails from Valsad Gujrat and is 22 years old. He plays the role of flanker and assaulter in the squad. Famous for his impressive M416 sprays with a 6X scope, Sc0ut is regarded as one of the best professional PUBG Mobile players in India right now. As of now, Sc0utOP plays for Fanatic.

Recent participations

Currently, team Soul is participating in PUBG Mobile Pro League(PMPL) Scrims. Unfortunately, TeamSoul had the worst possible start coming in last at the end of the first day of PMPL Scrims Season 3 week 3.

After the cancellation of PMPL South Asia, Tencent had started PUBG Mobile Scrims to keep its fans in India and South Asian Region entertained during the lockdown.
