The fruit tree needs 28 days to mature, after which one fruit is produced per day when in season. Before harvesting the fruit, it can accumulate for up to three days. Fruit trees don’t require watering, and they do not die in the winter. Players can plant fruit saplings anytime, allowing them to prepare for next season’s harvest by planting.
Fruit trees typically must be planted in the center of a clear area of 3×3, although they can be placed close to a permanent structure (i.e., house or greenhouse).
Fruit trees can be chopped down and produce normal wood. Lightning can burn fruit trees for four days if they are struck by lightning. During this time, they will not produce fruit, but instead coal. They will return to normal after the four days are over.
The cost of buying all six fruit trees saplings at Pierre’s General Store is 25 Gold per 400g.
Where to plant fruit trees Stardew Valley?

Fruit trees typically must be planted in the center of a clear area of 3×3, although they can be placed close to a permanent structure (i.e., house or greenhouse). A 3×3 area must remain free of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass); otherwise, the tree won’t grow.
When debris spawns overnight that prevents Fruit Tree growth, a message will be displayed the following morning saying that the tree was not able to grow. It’s not possible to plant fruit trees in overlapping 3×3 areas, so the game won’t allow you to do that. It is possible to plant saplings next to each other as close as two tiles apart in every direction.
Fruit trees are planted directly into the tilled ground. Once planted, fruit trees cannot be moved and their expensive saplings can’t be retrieved.
In the greenhouse, in the center soil, or around the border, fruit trees can grow. Once mature, fruit trees planted in the greenhouse or on Ginger Island will bear fruit every day, and their color will not change with the seasons.
Furthermore, that area immediately around them needs to be free of anything other than untilled soil – plants, objects, even other trees (though fruit trees can’t be planted too close to one another) or, they won’t grow.
When they grow, however, you can put stuff around them without consequence; they will bear fruit every day just fine.
When should I plant my tree saplings?
For best results, plants should be planted at least one full season before they begin producing fruit. As they reach maturity, they’ll just be regular trees until the season of bearing fruit, when they’ll yield one fruit per day.
Ideally, fruit trees should be planted at the beginning of the previous season to maximize profits. For example – plant Fall trees on the 1st of summer, Plant Summer trees on the 1st of spring, and so on.

HOW TO GROW TREES IN STARDEW VALLEY?

It is very simple to grow trees in Stardew Valley, but you still must learn the basics and the main tips to take care of that nice and cozy farm.
Trees are certainly a good-looking part of a farm, but they don’t make as much money as crops. That said, they shouldn’t be ignored since they are not useless.
You should try multiple trees if possible since all of them yield similar profits. However, if profit is your number one goal, you should plant trees in your greenhouse.
In addition to planting crops in a greenhouse, you can plant trees in the area around the growing area. Planting 16 trees in that area is allowed, but you cannot plant anything else but trees here, so you are not wasting any space.
In a greenhouse, trees reproduce all year round!
Fruit Quality & Price
A tree’s fruit increases in quality by one star per year of tree age after reaching maturity. Fruit trees will produce silver star fruit after one year, gold after two years, and iridium after three. Once the tree is fully grown, the surrounding area does not need to be kept clear for the tree’s fruit to increase in quality.
If you sell fruit tree fruit, you will receive a Tiller Profession price bonus, while if you sell jelly or wine made from fruit tree fruit, you will receive an Artisan Profession price bonus.
