As of now, 24 episodes have been confirmed for Ragna Crimson. If there are no unscheduled delays, the show should complete its broadcast by March 10, 2024. So fans don’t have to worry for a while. But the question that arises next is what happens after 24 episodes? Will the show continue with a sequel? Unfortunately, as of now, we can’t predict if the show will get a second season.

Ragna Crimson Season 1- The Story So Far
Ragna and Leonica follow a dangerous quest in the city of Donapierru. Ragna is hesitant as he sees omens of Leonica’s death. As they go into battle, Ragna realizes the omens are coming true and in an attempt to save Leonica, he puts his own life at risk. But after being immediately defeated, his consciousness is met by his future self.
The future self reflects on his regret for not being able to save Leonica and lends his power to Ragna so he can protect her. His new powers allow him to defeat a superior dragon with ease. But after realizing he is a threat around Leonica, he cuts her off to protect her.
Soon after, he meets Crimson who he remembers from his memories of the future. They end up negotiating to work together.
Meanwhile, the royal capital is under the Winged Bloddline’s control where they are sentencing people to silence harmless deaths. Ragna and Crimson reach the royal capital. But despite Crimson’s instructions, Ragna faces off against Ultimatia.
He completely overwhelms her time magic leaving her in despair. In an attempt to escape, Ragna and Crimson end up teleporting to Argentum Corps’ base. Here they meet Starlia Leese and her army.
Starlia immediately sees through Crimson’s lies and evil nature and orders his death. But Ragna not only manages to stop Starlia but also accidentally infatuates her.
They end up allying and Crimson provides important intel on the Winged Bloodline. In Episode 11, the Winged Bloodline prepares to take swift action and end humankind as soon as possible.
Voltekamui helps Ultimatia overcome the fear inflicted on her by Ragna. The episode comes to an end as Bloodline realizes they can’t lose any more of the superior dragons. The ending is also suggestive of an upcoming battle.

Ragna Crimson is based on the ongoing manga series by Kobayashi Daiki. The manga has 69 main chapters and 11 bonus chapters. It has been published by Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker since March 22, 2017.
Ragna Crimson Season 1 has so far covered the first 22 chapters! Season 1 will most probably end around Chapter 59 as it’ll mark the end of a major arc and also hint at the beginnings of the upcoming arc.

Season 1 will end a major arc. A series of battles will come to an end. Season 2 will be a new beginning as a large number of new characters will be introduced.
