In October last year, at the 10-year celebration of League of Legends, Riot Games announced multiple new projects across all platforms. The grand event also featured the announcement of Riot game’s latest game Legends of Runeterra.
Now, the game has been launched recently for both iOS and Android as a beta before the actual release.

Legends of Runeterra is a strategy card game where your skill, creativity, and cunning decide your victory. There are six major regions in the game. They are – Demacia, Noxus, Freljord, Piltover & Zaun, Ionia, and the Shadow Isles. All of these different regions have their own playstyle and strategic advantages.
Legends of Runeterra will feature champions from the League of Legends while adding new characters to the mix. At launch, there is a total of 24 champions from different regions to choose from.
Players can earn new cards as they progress through the game. They also speed up the process by spending real cash using microtransactions to acquire specific cards.
Well, to be fair, NOBODY is a fan of microtransactions, but we’ll reserve judgment on whether these are “pay-to-win” features until we get our hands on the final version of the game.
