Classroom of the Elite returned with its second season after nearly 5 years much to the delight of fans in 2022. The genius Ayanokoji, yet again impressed us with his cunning while also displaying his strength.

Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Release Date

While it initially had a release date of 2023, Classroom of the Elite season 3 is currently scheduled to release on January 2024.

Its animating studio, Lerche, received some criticism for the material skipped out from the Light Novel as well as subpar animation. However, they managed to stun fans with the much-anticipated fight between Ayanokoji and Ryuen as we finally saw what Ayanokoji was capable of.

The decision to push back the release date can be seen as a positive sign that the creators aspire to increase the quality.

What is Classroom of the Elite About?

Classroom of the Elite introduces us to a young man named Ayanokoji Kiyotaka who joins a prestigious school. Viewers soon notice that the school offers several extravagant facilities to its students at little to no cost.

However, the shocking truth is soon revealed as we find the nature of the school to be extremely cutthroat and focused on pushing students to their limits.

Placed at the bottom of this institute where only the toppers are rewarded, Ayanokoji is introduced to several people who wish to move up the ladder.

While he seems ordinary at first glance, it is soon revealed that the protagonist is a fearsome individual who is trying to keep his skills hidden but is dragged into situations that make this hard.

The first and second followed Ayanokoji and the antics of his classmates as they tried to get accustomed to their harsh new environment while fighting against the geniuses from every other class.

Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Plot

While there is very little revealed about the season till now, if Season 3 follows the storyline from the Light Novel, then it will start by following an intense group competition that takes place in a separate facility owned by the school.

This arc is also one where Kiyotaka does not play a very huge role and mainly focuses on the power struggle between Manabu Horikita and Miyabi Nagumo.

While these characters were briefly introduced earlier, we get to watch their scheming personalities and mind-blowing plans in action.

As time passes, the stakes of the series only keep increasing as more power-hungry people as well as those who know the truth about Ayanokoji’s past get introduced. Hence, this is all set to be a dynamic season.
