After being rejected by 100 girls, Rentarou seeks help from the God of Love. The God of Love assures him that he’ll meet 100 soulmates in the coming days. God further explains that every girl who makes eye contact with him will fall for him.

But he also warns him that if he doesn’t return their feelings, they’ll die. Immediately the next day at school, he comes across Hakari and Karane. Both of them express their love for him, but conflicted by the choices, he decides to date them simultaneously. Strangely enough, both of them agree to this.

After a few events, Rentarou comes across Shizuka who also falls for him. Shizuka lends Rentarou books that he can read, but Rentarou notes that Shizuka has trouble communicating. To help her, he shares a smartphone application that’ll help her communicate. He goes on to make Shizuka his third girlfriend.

To make his three girlfriends open up to each other, Rentarou decides to play a game with them. But Karane is displeased with Shizuka. Not because she is Rentarou’s third girlfriend but because she isn’t fully expressing her desires. But as Rentarou expected, the game enables them to express their thoughts and become closer.

Next, Rentarou comes across Nano who is different from all of his present girlfriends. She is very practical and feels that a relationship is meaningless. Rentarou invites her on a date. Even after the date, her opinion stays the same. But when Rentarou tries to burn the pictures they took on the date, she stops him. This helps her realize that she wants these memories to stay and she decides to become his girlfriend.

A few days later, Rentarou glances into the chemistry lab where he sees Kusuri. Eager to meet her again, he revisits the laboratory but instead meets a small girl. The small girl, who loves creating drugs, tries to experiment with her drugs on Rentarou. She uses a drug to make Rentarou fall for her. But Rentarou immediately tries to vomit it because he wants to fall for her naturally. A drug that helps this girl stay small is worn off and the girl turns out to be Kusuri.

In Episode 8, Kusuri is introduced to the other girlfriends. While hanging out together, the other girls accidentally take a drug that was meant for Rentarou. As a result, they turn into zombies. But working as a team, Rentarou and Kusuri managed to avert the crisis. Kusuri feels guilty but Rentarou assures her that she can continue making drugs because he’ll continue to help her if any error occurs.

The show is based on the ongoing manga series written by Nakamura Rikito and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa. The manga began its run in December 2019 and has been compiled into 16 volumes.

It is being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump. Season 1 Episode 8 has adapted the first 13 chapters. It is expected that Season 1 will adapt up to Chapter 23 which will mark the end of Volume 3.
