What is Undead Unluck about?

Andy, an undead, realizes that his hopes to die can finally come true when he meets Fuuko who carries immense amounts of ill luck. Captured by Andy, the two travel together as they’re being targeted by numerous forces with similar supernatural abilities.

What Happened in Undead Unluck Season 1?

Fuuko is on the verge of ending her life, but a sudden interruption by a strange man changes her plans. When enquired, she explains that she brings fatal ill luck to whoever she touches. This makes the man excited and it’s revealed that he is an undead.

Seeing this as a rare possibility to finally end his life, he unwillingly takes Fuuko along with him. A series of conversations and events starts to build a bond between them. But soon after they are attacked by members of the Union who are responsible for managing unchecked supernatural beings like them. However, together they manage to defeat these union members and Fuuko names the undead man ‘ Andy ’.

Andy promises to protect Fuuko till she can kill him. But on their way, they are attacked by two Union roundtable members. Again working together helps them defeat one of them.

The other member named Shen, explains that the Union won’t attack its members and offers them a seat in the Union roundtable. Andy decides to kill another member so both of them can join the Union.

They track down Gina, another member of the Union, and manage to defeat her. But during her last moments, Gina shares her thoughts. It fills Fuuko with emotions and she decides to make a change at the Union so people don’t have to be hunted anymore, and hunters like Gina don’t have to suffer anymore.

When they join the Union, a strange book named Apocalypse assigns them a quest to defeat a supernatural entity named Spoil. Andy accepts the quest and adds Shen to the quest.

The three travel to the infected city where people have been turned into zombies. Andy meets a zombie who doesn’t attack him. But Andy is infected since he is in the range of the infection.

His undead ability allows him to further prevent spoiling momentarily. So he decides to help this zombie. In return, she reveals Spoil’s location. Meanwhile trying to save a few kids also gets Fuuko and Shen infected.

Andy riles up the zombies to take revenge on Spoil who ruined their lives. Together with the zombies, he starts attacking Spoil. Overwhelmed by the numbers, Spoil absorbs all the zombies and gains greater power.

When faced with death, Fuuko reveals her dream which momentarily prevents her infection. The 7th episode comes to an end as Fuuko and Sheng prepare to fight Spoil.
