Enrolled in the prestigious magic school, Easton Magic Academy, under pretenses, pretending to have magical powers, Mash is constantly challenged by his classmates, who use their magic to try and expose his lack of abilities.

However, Mash’s incredible physical prowess allows him to excel in various physical trials and challenges set by the academy. He quickly gains attention and admiration from some of the students, while others become jealous and seek to bring him down.

Throughout the story, Mash encounters various magical creatures, dangerous trials, and powerful opponents. Despite facing overwhelming odds, he relies on his physical strength, wit, and determination to overcome each obstacle. Along the way, he forms friendships with other students who appreciate his unique perspective and skills.

As Mash progresses through the academy, he fights one of Innocent Zero’s mages named Cell War, who is shocked to know that ‘Mash’ is the person they’ve been searching for all along.

As Mash breaks Cell War’s spell-deflection mirror, Mash’s friends learn his secret of not having a single ounce of magical powers and decide to keep it a secret.

However, the truth gets revealed as Abel’s 100 freed dolls become human again and hear everything that has happened.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 plot: What will happen in Mashle season 2?

Mash Burnedead smashes Cell Wars spell deflection mirror

The first season of the anime adapted to the Easton Enrollment Arc and the Magic Lupus Arc covering the manga up to chapter 39.

We can expect the second season to pick up the story from manga chapter 40 which features ‘Execution Arc’ in the Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc, which ends in chapter 73 of the manga. If that happens, Mash will be put on trial for having no magic, and we’ll finally get to meet all the current Divine Visionaries.

The execution arc is the third arc in the series and is one of the shortest and the only arc that has no fighting unlike the fourth arc i.e. the divine visionary selection exam, an event held by the academy to find the student who will become the newest member of the divine visionaries. The divine visionary exam is divided into 3 phases;- the survival match, a team battle, and finally individual battles.

A major role of innocent zero member ‘Cell War’ as a potential villain can be seen.

It can be anticipated that Mashle season 2 will likely contain 12-13 episodes covering chapters 40-73 and therefore we can also expect a season 3 of the series as well.
