What Happens in Masamune-kun No Revenge?

Soon Masamune starts catching feelings for Adagaki Aki and gathers the courage of asking her out with flowers. However, Adagaki Aki rejects him brutally by calling him a Pig’s Foot. 

Humiliated Masamune strives to look attractive through rigorous training under his grandpa to take revenge on Adagaki by making her fall for him so that he can reject her the same way she did. 

Masamune-kun No Revenge Season 1 ended with the “Cultural Festival Arc” in which Masamune reflects on his feelings and desires for revenge on Adagaki. The two start going on dates and develop a close bond while Adagaki slowly starts getting attracted to Masamune without recognizing him as her childhood friend.

The Second season (also known as Masamune-kun no Revenge R) ended with the “Dead or Love Arc” which highlights the complex relationship between Masamune and Adagaki where they officially become a couple.

The season covers the Field Trip Arc in which Masamune goes on a trip to France with Adagaki and his friends which embarks an interesting turn in their relationship.

Masamune-kun No Revenge is based on a manga series of the same name written by Hazuki Takeoka and illustrated by Tiv with its serialization in Monthly Comic Rex magazine from October 2012 to June 2018.

Recently, a sequel manga, titled Masamune-kun’s Revenge Engagement (Masamune-kun no Revenge: Engagement), has been serialized on Ichijinsha’s Comic HOWL website since April 2023.

As of writing this article, Masamune-Kun no Revenge consists of 12 volumes out of which Season 2 ended with the adaptation of Chapter 50 (volume 10 in the manga series).

We believe the third season to continue from the 11th volume after chapter 50 of the manga series and may include some parts of the sequel manga.
