What has happened so far in My Hero Academia?
Midoriya Izuku dreamt of becoming a hero from a young age. But to his surprise, he was born without a quirk making it impossible for him to become a hero. But one day, he accidentally comes across All Might, the World’s #1 Hero! Moved by Izuku’s passion, All Might pass on his quirk “ One for All ” to Izuku.
Shortly after, Izuku joins UA High, a prestigious hero training school. After making new friends, Izuku finally feels at home. But the school is attacked by an evil group called League of Villains. Luckily, All Might’s timely arrival saves the day!
Season 2 begins with the UA sports festival which is won by Katsuki Bakugou. Following the festival, the students set off to their respective internships where they work under professional heroes. Izuku starts training under Gran Torino.
But the internships are interrupted by Stain, a villain infamous for killing several heroes. But he is eventually captured whilst fighting Izuku and other heroes. The season comes to an end with a practical exam at UA.
Season 3 begins with the student’s visit to a training camp where they are under the supervision of a hero team. They’re once again attacked by the League of Villains. Izuku manages to further master his powerful quirk and defeats a dangerous foe. But amidst the chaos, Bakugou is kidnapped.
To rescue Bakugou, Pro Heroes and the Police Force work together to raid the villain’s hideout. All for One, the show’s central antagonist, makes an appearance. To defeat All for One, All Might engages in a serious battle and is eventually victorious but at the cost of his hero career.
The Season continues as the students attend the provisional licensing exam which features students from other prestigious schools. The season comes to an end, as the students are introduced to the Big Three.
Season 4 begins with the introduction of another antagonist, Overhaul. Overhaul has a young girl named Eri captured. Eri possesses a very powerful quirk and if manipulated by Overhaul, can be lethal.
The superheroes manage to stop Overhaul by working together, Izurku also further strengthens his control over One for All. Season 4 comes to an end with a school festival, and Endeavour is announced as the new #1 Hero.
Season 5 includes a clash between classes A and B of UA High. Hitoshi Shinso who was previously seen in Season 2 reappears to join the Hero course. After the events at UA, Izuku along with Todoroki and Bakugou join Endeavour’s agency.
Shigaraki Tomura, who had been leading the League of Villains, is lured by a villainous group called Meta Liberation Army. The two groups are merged into one forming the Paranormal Liberation Front.
The group plans to make a large-scale attack on the heroes. The last episodes of Season 5 also take a look into Shigaraki’s past.
In Season 6, after gaining early intel, the heroes along with the students prepare for the Liberation Front’s attack. After a series of battles, the heroes manage to stop the chaos. Many lives are lost but still Shigaraki manages to escape. The heroes are only able to gain momentary peace while anticipating further attacks.
The Paranormal Liberation Front manages to attack Tartarus (a high-security prison) and free All for One and other dangerous villains.
Realizing that he is the target, Izuku strays away from his friends and works in isolation to stop the villains. Eventually, he is persuaded to return by the entirety of his class.
