What is Tokyo Revengers About?

Tokyo Revengers tells the story of a wimpy man named Takemichi who is very unsatisfied with how his life turned out. To make matters worse, he also finds out that his childhood girlfriend, a kind girl named Hinata, had died after an unfortunate murder.

While wallowing in self-pity, a miraculous event allows him to travel back in time to his school days. While not completely understanding what was happening, he decided to make the most of this opportunity and do everything he could to protect Hinata.

However, with surroundings infested by gangs, delinquents, and trouble-makers who are all much stronger than himself, Takemichi has a very thorny and painful path ahead to achieve his objective.

What is the Story of Tokyo Revengers Season 3?

Season 3 of the anime will be adapting the Tenjiku arc, which is one of the longest and most enjoyable arcs from the manga. The story picks up from where season 2 left off and follows Takemichi as he returns to the present thinking he would not have to time travel again.

To his surprise, however, Mikey has become a twisted version of himself while destroying Toman in the process. Resolved to fix things all over again, Takemichi travels back to the past in order to stop Kisaki and his plans.

Things only get harder as a mysterious gang named Tenjiku declares war on Toman, and the usually weak Takemichi will be forced to grow stronger to protect everyone he loves.

Similar to the previous arcs, this one will also be filled with thrilling fights and heavy emotions, making us love the story even more.

Tokyo Revengers Season 3 Trailer

There are two trailers for Tokyo Revengers Season 3.

In the first trailer, which is only available in Japanese for now, we caught a glimpse of our main characters – Takemichi, Mikey, and their adversaries Kisaki Tetta and Izana Kurokawa. It also gave us a better look of more members of the Tenjiku Gang, setting the stage for upcoming conflicts.

Will I Enjoy Tokyo Revengers?

Tokyo Revengers is very different from the standard Shounen story. While the protagonist does stronger, his development is not at an unrealistic pace but is done gradually.
