This Evertale Stun Team Build guide will help you build a perfect Stun Team in Evertale.
Crest Breares, I suppose now that you have processed enough in the game and attained a level where you may be wondering what team you should build, and if you are reading this article, then I can assume that you are interested in the Strom-Stun combination.
Well, I’m glad to inform you that your choice is right when there are tonnes of good characters available, especially for this (Strom-Stun) combination.
Table of Contents
The only reason for me to recommend them is that they can deal damage every turn, even if it’s little, but when needed, it could make a big difference.
Pros of having a Stun Team in Evertale
- Normally fast characters, because the opponent’s units will be suffering from stun.
- High chances of survival
- If you manage to fulfill the requirements, then usually the characters will unleash a deadly blow.
- Versatile characters, Which are useful to collect synergies and to unleash combos.
- It is a great ability that makes coming back very easy and is good for manual control.
- Attacking or killing them usually puts the attacking unit at risk because of the debuffs.
Just like Poison, stun is also not exclusive to any element type, which is why there are certain advantages and difficulties with stun-based teams.
Great and powerful characters who possess stun ability are divided among elements, which makes it easier to get them, but the leadership buff becomes a difficulty.
When you are going for either Stun or Sleep there are certain things that you have to keep in mind, first if the unit has the Hold Ground which most of them have, then it’s going to be difficult to deal with them as it is going to take an extra turn to deal with that lasting 1HP, so in my eyes, it’s among one the biggest disadvantages of having a team of either type.
Second, both of these effects are limited they’ll wear off after a certain period, unlike poison or burn which never ends unless you remove it, which is why you’ve to be quick when going for combos as there’s is a time limit, if you fail to do so, then you’ve to start from square one.
That’s why, For making a good and powerful team, you need to go through characters, and that was the hard part of them all as there are tons of characters in the game, but you need not worry; we have taken that burden from you.
Evertale Stun Team Build
Here, we’ll be recommending only Storm characters that possess Stun abilities so buff can benefit them all, so let’s start.
Ossia: The Hollow Heart
We have chosen her to be the leader of the team; she has the leadership skill of Quicken Strom, which reduces the TU cost of the Strom allies by 20%, an ability that I admire the most because this is a strategically based game and depending on sheer attacking power will be foolish; you have to come up with strategies to deal with the opponents, and a cut of 20% in the TU will be a great help in achieving that.
Do you know the difference between a good and a great character?
Passive skills are something that makes great characters; every character is bound to have some good active skills, but the situation changes when they also possess some good passive skills such as –
Auto Time Strike: 50% bonus to attacks against units that have a current TU of 130 or more This bonus is increased to 100% against units that have a current TU of 200 or more.
An increase in damage What more do you need when building a stun team? And to top it all off, she also possesses Hold Ground and that extra 1HP, which can prove to be a pain to deal with, especially when she can heal herself with Flip Stun Random, which exchanges the user’s current HP with the amount of HP they have currently lost and stuns two random enemies for 100 TU.
You can use this only once per battle, but even then, it’s quite a combination she has, and that is why she is our first pick.
As for her other skills, like
Swift Strike: Deals 75% damage to one enemy, and allies gain one spirit.
Guard Destroyer: 500% damage to 1 enemy if they are a Guardian.
It’s quite a handy skill to deal with the Auto Guard ability holder.
Combo Burst: 300% damage to 2 enemies. unlocks each time the user damages an enemy with another attack.
She is quite the package, isn’t she? From having great leadership skills to passive and active ones, she has all that you may want in battle.
She can play the role of a leader and be the main damage dealer for the team with all those crazy, powerful attacks.
Antares – The Thunderhearted Heroine
Next on our list of recommendations is – Antares – The Thunderhearted Heroine.
Although Ossia can play the role of a damage dealer, that doesn’t mean we won’t recommend one for you; she was originally intended for the role of a leader, but she is just too good and versatile to fit in both jobs.
Either way, now we’ll have two main damage dealers on the team.
Antares and Ossia have almost the same skill set, which is why I said Ossia can play the role of a damage dealer as well, but Antares just takes things to a different level with her Attack and Counter as it can remove any new status effects, deal damage to the opponents, and if the unit is in Counter Stance next time the unit takes damage from an enemy attack, it will become their turn.
Along with it, she possesses Survivor’s Fury, which can inflict up to 500% damage to two enemies; usually, Survivor’s Fury can only target one enemy, but that’s not the case for her.
After that, we have
Time Strike: 500% damage to 1 enemy if they have 130 TU or more in the turn order. 600% damage if the target has 200 TU or more.
This skill in particular will be very useful when you are using a stun-based team, as the TU of your opponents will always be higher because of stun.
And lastly, she can also heal herself with the Thunder Heart, which stuns 1 enemy for 150 TU, and then the user is healed for 100% of their maximum HP. only if the user’s HP is at 25% or less.
She was dangerous enough with her active skill, and we are yet to see her passive one’s
Hold Ground and Survival Storm Skin: All enemy units get stunned for 50 TU whenever this unit is damaged by an enemy attack unless Survivor’s Fury is unlocked by this unit.
Both of the characters are heavy damage dealers, but the problem with the damage dealers is that they have a comparatively low HP compared to the other units, and that’s why we need a strong supporting character that can play the role of a tank.
And to ace that role, we have our next character –
Young Rizette – Pure Blue
I have to be pretty stupid to call her a supporting character, but in our team, she fits the description of it, as she possesses the passive skill Charge Armor, which reduces 50% damage from attacks while this unit has any Charges, and for the other one, she has my favorite Hold Ground.
So, she aced the section on passive skills, and as I’ve already mentioned, passive skills make great characters.
Her active skills are also identical to the other two, so yes, we have a third damage dealer in our team who is also versatile and can play different roles when needed.
Active skills: Swift Charge: deals 75% damage to one enemy and grants one charge to the user.
Purify Charge [Two]: Removes negative status effects.
Charge, Drain: Charge targets 1 enemy and heals the user for 100% of the total damage dealt. 300% damage for 1 charge. 450% damage for 2 charges and 600% damage for three charges is usable only if the user has stored at least one charge. consumes all charges imposed on the user.
Stun Flash: Stuns 1 enemy for 100 TU. This skill becomes locked for 200 TU after use.
Although her Charge Armor ability will come in handy, even with it she can’t be a match for Ludmilla – The Crimson Valkyrie.
If you want someone else to play the role of the tank in your team, she’ll be a good match for your requirements.
And for the final character, we have Two competitors – Altaireon – Soul of the Storm (Attack, Pain Stun, Random, Time Drain, and Desperate Strike) and Norza – Blade of the Aeons (Attack & Counter, Time Strike, Payback Stun, and Survivor’s Fury) both of them are packed with handy abilities depending on your need.
Altaireon – Soul of the Storm & Norza – Blade of the Aeons
Both of them are great matches for this team with their skills and abilities, so I’ll leave the decision of picking one to you; it’ll be your decision as to whom you want on the team.
Initially, I thought that stun would not be as great of a status effect as poison or burn, but after researching the characters and formulating the Strom-Stun combinations, the team looks promising and to be honest, I’m thinking of trying out stun on some other server to see for myself what it holds.
You can check out other awesome Strom characters from our Evertale tier list.
